I'm Brazilian from Campinas, São Paulo, and I've been living in the United States for 26 years now. Here I discovered a passion for cooking; I was always around my mom and my grandma in the kitchen, making tasty food and having memorable times. I started getting many compliments, and that led me to start selling my food. Then, I ventured into making sweets from my grandmother's recipe book, and that's when everything started escalating for me. I've had the opportunity to take a basic cake decoration class, and I loved it! At the beginning, my cakes were very simple, but my passion and curiosity continued to grow. During my pregnancy, my plan was to stay home for a year to take care of my baby and then go back to my regular job, but the universe had other plans for me, and I started getting busier and busier with new orders. I started from having a simple stand at a Sunday fresh market on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale to serving some of the most prestigious artists and celebrities from Brazil, which helped make my popularity soar. I have had the pleasure of helping people like Karina Bacchi, Cantor Daniel, Bruna Cramer, Rafaela Massa, Carol Bassi, Fabiana Alvarez, Bianca Castanho, Adriana Lima, and also Patrick Bet-David and Brandon Vera; they all became part of my sweet story. With all that going on, my husband, who was then working in another job, took the risky decision to leave everything and join me. Not forgetting that in between all this, we were called to participate in a Netflix show called Sugar Rush. Check it out; it’s Season 2, Episode 4 - "Made with Love." With hard work and dedication, we worked towards a dream, had everything set to achieve our goal, and open a store. When we finally got the last inspection approved and were ready to open, something unexpected happened: the pandemic! But we had the courage to face the challenge and open the doors.
